The external reporting channel is operated by the Ministry of Justice of the Czech Republic. Submitting a report to the Ministry is not conditional on having previously submitted a report through the internal whistleblowing system. The choice of procedure is entirely up to the whistleblower.
Designated ministry staff assess reports in terms of the scope of the Whistleblower Protection Act and the competence of the public authority that should deal with the reported conduct. The Ministry itself does not investigate unlawful conduct or propose remedial measures.
